Special Projects
In addition to child care services and professional development days, there are several other significant projects we coordinate year-round.
There are fundraising events, Crane School of Music interns, read aloud guests, SUNY Potsdam faculty visits, Cornell Cooperative Extension lessons and recycling projects from time to time.

One of our current, on-going endeavors is a Pollinator Pals Garden to help care for our environment and create a safe, natural space for our children to connect with nature. We have included more details about that here with photos of its creation and progress.

Usually during the NAEYC's Week of the Young Child, we look forward to planning our "Family Fun Night" and each year has been a different theme:

-
2012 - Carnival Night
-
2013 - Rainy Day Fun
-
2014 - Science Exploration
-
2015 - Art Night
-
2016 - Celebration of Diversity with Len Mackey's Drum Circle
-
2017 - Game Night
-
2018 - Dancing and Storytelling with the Native North American Traveling College
-
2019 - Let's Grow with a Pollinator Pals Garden
-
2020 and 2021 - Cancelled due to the Covid-19 Pandemic safety measures discouraging group activities

So stay tuned for this year's special projects and be our guest, or volunteer. Your participation means so much!
